Overview
Every running application may communicate with one or more remote networks at the same time.
Network Selection allows you to select one specific applicationânetwork connection and review it before applying a control action.
Selecting a Network Connection
Use the selection button (â) next to a remote network entry in the connection table.
Unlike App Selections, only one network connection can be selected at a time.
This ensures that actions are always applied to the intended application and its selected network connection.
Connection Control Panel
After selecting a network connection, the Connection Control panel appears.
Review the displayed information before applying an action.
- Application â Local application owning the connection.
- Network â Selected remote network.
- Address â Remote IP address.
Direction Selection
Select the traffic direction before applying a control action.
IN
Applies the action to incoming network traffic.
OUT
Applies the action to outgoing network traffic.
BOTH
Applies the action to both incoming and outgoing traffic.
Available Actions (Premium)
Stop Connection Only
Attempts to terminate the selected network connection.
The application may establish a new connection later if communication is still required.
Stop + Block IP
Terminates the selected connection and blocks further communication with the selected IP address.
Stop + Block Network Range
Terminates the selected connection and blocks communication with the related network range.
Important
One application may have several active network connections simultaneously.
Connection control is performed individually for each applicationânetwork connection.
â Caution
Blocking IP addresses or network ranges may affect the normal operation of an application.
Apply blocking actions only when you understand the possible consequences.
