AI Analysis

It helps answer questions such as:
- What is this connection?
- Why is this application communicating?
- Does this behaviour appear expected?
AI evaluates the selected application together with the selected network connection.
Network and Application Control
Premium provides user-controlled network and application blocking capabilities.
- Stop the selected connection.
- Block communication with the selected IP address.
- Block communication with the selected network range.
- Block or unblock network access for a selected application.
- Use Block All or Unblock All for applications listed in Applications Network Control.
- While application blocking is active, WhoIsConnected periodically checks for newly observed networks used by blocked applications and applies the corresponding network restrictions.
Application blocking is monitored independently in the background. The monitoring status and current monitoring interval are shown in Applications Network Control.
Background monitoring does not automatically change the main network display. Visible network information is updated through Refresh or the user-configured Auto Refresh function.
Network restrictions are implemented through Windows Firewall and can be reversed by unblocking the corresponding application, network, or IP address.
User-Controlled Security
WhoIsConnected does not automatically decide which communication should be allowed or blocked.
Premium provides additional information and control so users can make their own decisions based on their knowledge of the computer and the installed applications.

Privacy
WhoIsConnected is designed with privacy in mind.
Network monitoring is performed locally on your Windows computer. Your network activity is not uploaded to a cloud service.
Some Premium features may use external services when requested, such as AI-assisted analysis or retrieving additional network information.
Premium License
€12.00 per PC / year
The license provides access to Premium features for one PC for one year. There is no automatic subscription renewal.
Renewal is optional.
